Investment Casting

Investment casting is the most ancient of the metal casting arts, and at the same time, among the most modern and versatile. A wax pattern of the desired part is created. Several identical wax patterns are assembled onto a "tree" and invested in a suitable mold refractory. The investment and drying process is repeated until a sufficient thickness has been built up to withstand the molten metal. The wax is melted out of the mold, leaving a cavity the shape of the part. Molten metal of the selected alloy is poured into this cavity, producing the desired part in metal

Casting Materials: Over 60 specifications of carbon steels, low alloy steels, heat-resisting steels, stainless steels, tool steels, spring steels, aluminum alloys and copper alloys. Some non-standard materials also available as customers' special requirements

Capabilities: Investment casting, heat treatment, machining, polishing, barrel burnishing and assembly
